Soul Transit are experienced musicians from all over the United States, who now live in the Charlottesville area. They play favorite songs from the golden years of Soul, classic Top 40 & Motown and are family oriented  -- they  want people to have a good time.  Their extensive repertoire includes jazz standards, R&B classics, blues, swing, funk, and classic rock.  Soul Transit is an area favorite with a dynamic new look, including some contemporary hits, male and female lead singers with effective harmony vocals.  With an energetic a horn section, keyboards & percussion, Soul Transit generates a dynamic sound that will keep you on your feet and dancing.

"Soul Transit played at our 2010 Holiday Party and we were thrilled with their performance. Their soul music was fun, boisterous and had everyone of all ages on the dance floor" - The Hook.

"Chris, I have only good things to say about Soul Transit, they embodied professionalism and informality together, their music was spectacular, and their enthusiasm was incredible. As long as we continue having this party with a band, I hope our relationship with you and the guys continue.
